We have upgraded the Basic memberships. Basic members now have the capability of uploading and swapping out images at will. One image will also now appear next to their name in the Member Directory (or coming next month, Directories).

Pricing for new Basic memberships will now be $11.95/month with a 10% discount for annual payment. However, all prior Basic members will retain the same $9.95 that they have been paying all along. Even at $11.95, the sites are priced below that of any other provider of full-function artist websites.

The server migration was completed the first weekend in April. All sites are now housed in a new and more powerful server which means the sites will load up quicker and it will be easier to do updates. Unfortunately, the migration did not go as smoothly as we had hoped and planned. Some of the data was not copied over correctly, at least initially. We have now done this manually, but if you find something isn't quite right, please notify support@artspan.com and we will make it right

Our KnowledgeBase was temporarily offline but has now been restored. As always, the Knowledge Base should be your first stop when you have a question. You will find, in almost cases, that it is answered there. To access the Knowledge Base, just log in to your site and then click on Knowledge Base in the bottom row. Also, remember that if you have any issues that you would like to see addressed in the KnowledgeBase, send them to support@artspan.com with KB in the subject line and we will add them.

Traffic in March: 67,628 unique visitors (visitors counted once only), 120,000 total visitors, 2.9mm page views and 12mm hits. All these are new highs for Artspan. This does NOT include visitors going directly to member sites. That number is much higher. To increase traffic to your individual site, remember to tell one person about your site a day, it really adds up!

Last month, we launched our new Artspan Associate memberships. Associate memberships allow individuals with their own sites, not Artspan template sites, to have 4 of their images (the same number as Basic members) show in the Artspan search functions and to also have an image appear in the Directory. We will also be changing the Basic memberships so that basic members have an image show in the member Directories.

Pricing for the Associate Memberships is $8.95 per month (10% off if annual payment) for Associate membership if they choose to have Artspan also host their site. And for those Associate members who choose to keep their current host, the cost will be $35 a year. The $25 set up fee does apply.
