Part Painting/Part Sculpture. This large piece is actually 13 narrow canvases attached to each other, going in and out. At one point, it is 6" from the wall. Iridescent colors of gold, bronze, & copper, make it difficult to photograph. I thought about this for about 4 months, lying in bed when I couldn't sleep. My idea originally was a grove of trees in the moonlight, but as the project progressed it seemed to morph from day to day. The colors are all reflective and seem to bounce off each other. In the end, I named it "Echo." Each piece is gallery wrapped and painted on the sides. Cannot be taken apart. I donated this large piece to the Western North Carolina Aids Project, where it was sold at their annual fund raiser & auction. It is now in a private collection in Asheville, NC. Thanks for your interest in my art. Adonna
