Tree of Character

There was the Tree of Life, and the Tree of Knowledge. If there was a Tree of Character, what would it look like? I think it would look a lot like this one that I found along a trail at Point Reyes National Seashore. So much texture and color, moss and lichen, holes and hollows, with branches full of light. Colored pencil on Stonehenge paper.
