After the Rain

This is the 4th painting in the 'Steinbeck Country' series. A series of studies regarding the life styles of the agricultural workers in the Salinas Valley area of Central California. As I was heading out to the fields in the early AM to view the workers I spotted this peaceful scene just after a light rain. (The original is framed w/ a contemporary 'Float-Frame' made of Ash with a 3/16" reveal _ 3/8" exposed edge by 2 1/2" deep)
