Dreaming of the Planets

Description

Dreaming of the Planets: The dream catcher is an American Indian art form which is intended to trap good dreams in a web and pass them down through feathers and other hanging features to its sleeping owner. Traditionally, American Indians have made their dream catchers from wood, string, feathers, beads and various other natural materials. Dreaming of the Planets is a metal and glass interpretation of this beautiful and unique art form. The piece has a stressed metal finish covered in a black oxide patina that includes beautiful deep brown undertones. It is finished in a flat protective coating to give it a more natural appearance.
