Manopla el Sonido de Violencia, (Manopla the Sound of Violence, 2014

This is part of a series of works under the auspice of a fictitious network referred to as Si-N-N Network. The format is suggestive of an advertisement screen with a news bar scrolling in the lower mid-section. It's content is about the violence in Mexico and how women are subjected to inhumane atrocities. The middle warrior-like figure holds a gun and is drawing a sword while a cartoon ballon-like text combines the words of I Ching and a tu ego vato. Here the artist draws on the universality of the East, the Chinese I Ching as a play on words which in spannish me something similar to "screw you and your ego dude". The doll-like images are a reference to women being portrayed as dolls or sterotyped as commodities to be played with and disgarded. This series also contains a video that is added at the lower portion of the panel.
