Merrilee Drakulich Contemporary Paintings

At Nikko

I did this oil painting of sculptures that were on display in a shop in the town of Nikko, Japan.

In 2001, I had the opportunity to live in Tokyo which gave me inspiration to paint a series of landscapes based on my experiences of things I saw throughout Japan.

This 36-inch x 48-inch painting is on a 1.5-inch deep stretcher frame with its sides painted and is ready for hanging.

The painting is signed and dated on the back of the canvas (2001).
