Tree of Kintsugi

Kintsugi is a Japanese philosophy which regards breakage and repair as part of the history of an object that makes it beautiful, rather than something to disguise. This tree that I found along the San Andreas fault line embodies this. Colored pencil on Stonehenge paper.
