Sundown At Olcott


15" X 22" Watercolor A scene dear to my heart....I lived my first 25 years in the tiny hamlet of Olcott, NY. When I was asked to commission a painting of Olcott, the buyer of the original gave me free license to depict a scene that would remind him of home. At the location of the east pier looking west, you can see boats entering and leaving the Olcott harbor, people fishing on the west pier, the gorgeous sunsets, the Toronto skyline (on a clear day) and wonderful skyscapes over this vast body of water. This explains what I wrote in my "About" section...
