Watercolor on Arches Paper
30" X 22"
This beautiful brick building was on the same block of the neighborhood I grew up in down in Olcott, NY. When I was asked by another Olcott "kid" to compose a collage from 5 photographs in black & white and make the painting in Sepia, I saw the challenge and quickly accepted. This painting shows eras of the building from the turn of the 20th century to the 1960s. In respects to my customer's request, the lower right section shows the interior of the store with Greg Daigler's uncle and his father.
This painting is now custom framed and hanging at Greg's home in Olcott Beach.
