Animism 7

Description

Mixed Media
Mounted on Linen
Placed within Plexibox

It seems to me that the idea of animism is pervasive in our society and around the world. We give human traits to animals, believing them to have souls, some believe plants cans sing, can feel, many others have risked much to save a tree. In the animistic world the human being is regarded on an equal basis with animals, plants, and natural forces, this becomes a world view, humans are considered a part of nature, rather than superior to, or separate. These are ancient ideas, and ideas that live within us as we humans continue to evolve into the unknown future.
