Daisy was a companion with whom I walked over a thousand miles with on trails and streets near our home over the course of six years. When she passed I felt a tremendous sense of loss. I was fortunate enough to have taken a picture of her on one of our walks that was very reflective in nature. The only problem with the picture was that her leash looked rather out of place just hanging from her collar. An appeal over Facebook as to whether the leash should go did not settle the matter with about half saying it should go and the other half saying it was so much a part of her and our walks that it had to stay. I like to think it was Daisy who came up with the solution to keep it in the picture but no longer being attached.
