DD092314 Franztastic

Acrylic on canvas 2014 This painting is a riff on a well known Franz Kline painting. I love Abstract Expressionism but it would be disingenuous of me to paint in that style so I took Kline's work and reinterpreted it through the lens of our contemporary digital culture. It was featured in a project in a Beverly Hills mansion done by interior designer Trip Haenisch.
