A beautiful and unusual monochromatic...first, the backstory...I bought an old Currier & Ives print at a thrift store and when I opened it I found an old newspaper dated 1919 and this incredible old cardboard “NY” backing. I used the backing for this painting. It’s framed under glass due to it’s fragility. Featuring none other than “Bill the Butcher” of NYC’s Five Points.
15.5” x 19.5” framed dimensions. Framed under glass with a very cool steampunk distressed metal frame.
