This is a wood-burned portrait highlighted with acrylic paints. The subject is Conica Wanica, known as No Flesh. He was part of the Red cloud peace delegation in Washington D.C. in 1872. Later an Army scout. Notably, he was a Sundancer who participated and mentored in the ceremonies despite the Government ban on them.
