This is a male and female butterfly coming together in life, the butterfly is both the beautiful and innocent. Each is bringing their stalk of corn. Meaning, what they are each bringing and contributing into the relationship and the love that they both have. The flower between them is what they are going to share in life, what is going to nourish and sustain them both. The rain cloud is giving life, without rain there is no life. The rainbow is representing the beauty in their lives and also the world. The turquoise and yellow spanning the entire painting is symbolizing both their lives, they will have a long life together. Four prayer offering attached is saying that their lives together are scared and pure. The brown is the land of Hopi.
