Peonies
Peonies are beautiful flowers. They have a graceful flow to them. I thoroughly enjoyed painting the soft light on the flowers and the incredibly subtle transitions of color and tone. The painting is very simple and straightforward. I wanted to create a sense of quiet and stability for the viewer.
