Sunflowers in Green

Linocut print "Sunflowers" is printed with custom mixed green relief ink on beige Japanese printmaking paper. It is an original, hand pulled linocut print. Paper size is approx. 16 x 20 inches (41 x 51 cm). Printed image size is approx. 9 x 12 inches (23 x 30.5 cm). Limited edition of 50. Numbered, titled and signed in pencil below printed image. Since this relief print is handmade each print edition will be slightly different and unique.

This is a hand printed linoleum print with high quality green oil-based relief ink. Printed on natural (beige) color gampi fiber Japanese printmaking paper. Note this handmade paper is a warm cream color and has four natural deckled edges. This nature botanical print of sunflowers is very detailed and beautiful and looks great with black or natural wood frames. Frames are not included. Also available in black ink printed on beige paper.

Shipping information: Prints are carefully rolled between sheets of acid free tissue paper, then rolled again with kraft paper for extra protection, placed in water proof bags and mailed in sturdy shipping tubes.

The print was made by first drawing my idea on paper, transferring the reversed image to a linoleum block and then carving away the areas that I do not want to print. Lastly, I hand print it on high quality printmaking paper.
