Small Gold and Blue Snail

basket is woven of traditional ash wood with sweet grass trim. This delightful periwinkle snail design wraps around the side of the basket. The design on the bottom of the basket is identical to the top. The 100+ year old traditional design is a nod to the subsistence food of the Wabanaki people of Maine.
