Casco Bay in Portland, Maine is beautiful; especially in the winter. But, it is cold. This is a pastel of Fort Williams' Gazeebo in January. The evergreen bush on the left is rugged and withstands the winter onslaught. I wanted to capture the feeling of the blustery wind over the water. The intense sunshine across the scene gives us hope for spring.
