Alpine Flower

oil on cradled panel. 18 x 18. This painting is painted Prussian blue on the side panels. It can be hung without a frame.
I photographed these flowers on a long hike in the Tetons. I was struck by how soft and delicate the leaves were and how interesting the shade of blue/green was.
