Shimmering Twill 2

Navajo textile woven with handspun wool, recycled sari silk and reflective fibers. The technique used is a variation of the diamond twill in which one heddle is delayed in use at regular intervals to create the elongated effect. The reflective fiber adds a unique element to the ancient twill design.
