Edward the Chipmunk
Realistic graphite drawing of a North American chipmunk.
This drawing was inspired by a picture I took of a chipmunk my sister trained to take peanuts from her hand. She named him Edward, and he frequently visited our back porch for a treat. My sister even had him climbing up onto her lap.
We enjoyed that beautiful Canadian summer surrounded by forest critters like this little guy. When I snapped the reference photo for this drawing, I noticed the outline of a peanut inside his cheek. What a cutie!
The original 8x10" graphite drawing on paper was completed in July 2022.
