Tired Worn Indian Chief

This piece is one of my favorite drawings, as it derives from my mind looking for arrowheads. As I look at thousands of rocks searching for one solitary stone that has been manipulated into a weapon, a sharp pointed tip of a spear, I am reminded that these ancient humans were born, ate, mated and died without any one of us today knowing nothing of the person they were. Only God knows.
Original Native American chief with head dress straddling a horse. I gave the old soul a sense of a tired, worn out leader whose time has come to pass down the reigns to his son. This piece is drawn by graphite pencil on a 24x19 Strathmore acid-free paper.
