NAVAJO SASH BELT & MOCCASINS

The rich history and culture of the indigenous people of North America, including their beliefs, rituals, traditions and ceremonies are depicted here in my painting of a Navajo Sash Belt and Moccasins. The Navajo Sash Belt was considered sacred and was worn by young women as a gift when entering womanhood. This pastel painting measures 11x14 and has been framed in museum quality frame to 14x17 overall.
