This is a depiction of a blustery autumn day in the Scottish wilderness of Inverpolly, with fast moving light and ferocious showers! The two km long ridge of Suilven stands proud on the horizon surveying its huge domain of peaty bogs and lochans.
Utilising gritty, earthy texture and flowing fluid paint, Kevan creates an atmospheric and intimate world, greatly influenced by his local Scottish landscape.
