In this original painting, the sun is barely visible through the dust storm. The title of this painting was inspired by The Beatles song, "I'll Follow The Sun" which was written by Paul McCartney, before he joined the band. The band decided to include it on their album: Beatles For Sale, which was released Dec. 4, 1964.
As the boys became more experienced musicians, they began to experiment with instruments and sounds. For this song, Ringo provided the beat by slapping his palms on his knees. The painting is done with acrylics on canvas, is gallery wrapped, painted on the sides, wired and ready to hang- no frame is needed.
It is currently hanging in Mean Mr. Mustard's Cafe, in Hendersonville, NC. And as all you Beatles fans know, Mean Mr, Mustard was a Beatles song. For sale. S & H extra. If you live within 50 miles of me, the artist, I will bring it to you & if my hubby is available, he will come with me, and hang it for you, all complimentary. Thanks for your interest in my art!
