Swingtime Fuchsia

Delicate in structure but bold in color is Swingtime Fuchsia watercolor. Have this beautiful flower hanging in your room year round.
Fuchsia Fun Facts -
• The meaning of Fuchsia is cheerful, playful, and uplifting. Of course, they are! They look like their meaning.
• They are valued for their showy flowers, tubular to bell-shaped, in shades of red and purple to white.
• Fuchsia petals can be used as a salad, garnish, or frozen inside ice cubes for a pretty party drink.
• The fuchsia berries can actually be made into jelly! The berries and flowers add Vitamin C and many other nutrients while brightening up all your dishes.
• Fuchsias thrive in humidity. If you live in a dry climate, you might have to mist your plants to keep them sufficiently moist.
• Fuchsia’s petals come in a variety of color ranges in Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, White.
• The warmer the climate, the more shade will be necessary. Fuchsias are at their best where the summer days stay below 85 degrees F.

I have loved these delicate flowers from afar for years. Because of their delicate branches and tender flowers, I thought they were out of my ability for care. I did buy a basket of Fuchsia, several years ago, and successfully kept them for a few months. I felt that was quite an accomplishment!
The colors are so vibrant and the contrast in some of the varieties are so amazing! Add the opportunity for a double petal fuchsia and I’m over the moon in love with this flower! Perhaps I will give this beauty a try in the garden or on the patio!
