Island Gallery and Studios
In April 1990, Island Gallery West was created by a small group of local artists on Florida's Anna Maria Island. Our gallery has since evolved into a successful artists' cooperative of nearly thirty members. We offer paintings, artistic photography, drawings, mixed media, ceramic arts, pottery, decorative tiles, jewelry, glass mosaics, and much more. The works of a different artist or group are featured each month. The gallery is staffed by knowledgeable Member artists who welcome the opportunity to discuss the gallery's art with you. We look forward to providing a pleasant, relaxing visit. with many works of art on display in our exhibit areas. You'll discover all the variety and visual stimulation of an art festival in a pleasant gallery setting. After twenty-three years, in April of 2023, we moved from or island location to the city's festive Old Main Street (12th Street W), where our gallery now resides. We are serving the interests of our local community of artists and would-be artists by offering frequent classes and demos, while providing a more enjoyable atmosphere to visitors of downtown Bradenton.
