Kathleen Lang Metaxas started her fine art journey later in life after raising a family and a career in real estate and mortgage financing. Kathleen found a love for printmaking, papermaking, eco printing and books arts as a departure from the detailed and stressful demands of her 20 year business career. She has employed non-toxic and environmentally conscious processes to her work from the the onset 20 years ago. Since then her work has been widely collected, won awards and curated for the sets of TV shows such as Madam Secretary. She teaches at the Arts Council of Princeton, Frontline Arts/Printmaking Center of NJ, and at Organic Imprints Studio which she owns and operates.
