Patrycja Ivey spent her childhood in the gray muted background of communist Poland where art supplies like everything else were scarce. One sad Christmas Santa’s colored pencils were stolen from the family Fiat.
She comes from an artistic family. Her mother was a painter. Her fathers brother was a talented sculptor. Patrycja as a child was happiest when she was drawing and painting.
After moving to Florida 14 years ago, she was struck by a barrage of bold colors from the ocean, beach, and natural landscape. Patrycja determined to hone her talent and dedicate her time to very colorful art inspired by the bright world around her, not that of her drab past.
