My life went through a big change last year when I moved from Europe to the U.S. My aim and artistic process changed as well. Instead of portraying my internal feelings in the form of girl faces, I found more interest in depicting the completely new environment and way of life. In this new setup, I follow two lines that sometimes intermingle.
First line are my whimsical acrylic landscapes where with my curving shapes, organic appearances and a touch of liveliness, I simply try to capture the places around me.
Second line are my ink drawings, made with crosshatching. Here my cat is the main actor and I create imaginary adventurous world for her.
Both these paths are important to me because I like the process during which individual visual perceptions from my environment join. Then, my personal image of my sensations and imaginations is being born…
