Pamela Parsons is an abstract expressionist painter. Pamela works in acrylics, oils, watercolor, and mixed media. Since 1994, Pamela’s work has evolved from impressionist to abstract in nature. Current work explores the concepts of rhythm and balance in line, shape, color, relationships and connections.
Pamela’s art education, though primarily from self-study, also includes studies in drawing and portraiture at Millersville University, painting at Arcadia University, art history at Old Dominion University and watercolor at Abington and Doylestown Art Centers. Pamela has completed 21 fine art credits in drawing, design, photography, digital art and painting at the Hicks Art Center, Bucks County Community College. Pamela graduated from Arcadia University with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology.
Pamela is a lifelong musician and teaches classical, acoustic and fingerstyle guitar including rock, pop, folk and classical and beginning piano.
Pamela accepts commissions for abstract paintings. Commissions have included painting and print fundraisers for Deep Run Presbyterian in Bedminster, PA and Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Doylestown, PA.
