More Contemplation
This is a mixed media piece from pens, watercolor, and gouache. I enjoy the old school method of measuring, sketching, and the cutting of templates that I use to layout the patterns. I've chosen to focus on signs in nature. From the arrangement of the fig leaves, pomegranates, and grapes emerge the tessellating layers of patterns.
