A Glimpse of the Past

I have long held a fascination for cormorants. From far away they look like boring black birds but the first time I saw one in my zoom lens I was amazed at their appearance. Their coats have an iridescent shine that can make them look anywhere from blue to brown, they have bright green eyes, and scales on their beaks that make them almost dragon-like. I think you can truly see evolution in these creatures because the dinosaurs they once were are still apparent. I have many cormorant projects coming in the future, it's become a favorite of mine.
