Woodland Ambiance

This original oil painting is based on summer in the Wisconsin Northwoods.
Inspiration came from Black River Falls that is on the edge of the Driftless Area.
A dam was created there to harness power where the river cuts through
a region of granite.

This wooded area is lush and inviting for hiking and canoeing.
