This is from our backyard in Prescott Valley, Arizona. The tree was very small when we bought the house. We had no idea what kind of a fruit tree it was! Finally, after 7 years, we discovered it was an apricot tree! I took some photos and couldn’t believe how delicate they were up close. Tree blossoms are so delicate and I love the way you can see through the petals. I really hope you enjoy my painting. I am hoping to paint a few more blossoms from our tree. I love painting in watercolors. I love the way the colors glow through each layer and fill with light, like stained glass.
All my watercolor art paintings are painted on Arches 300# cold-pressed, bright white watercolor paper. Arches paper is archival and acid-free. I use M. Graham and Winsor and Newton's professional watercolor paints. My colors are permanent and archival and will not fade or change color! I will never paint with fugitive colors no matter how beautiful or vibrant they are. It is important to me that my paintings will last a lifetime and beyond with the proper care and attention.
Check out my watercolor fine art prints that are available on fine art archival watercolor paper, matted prints, framed and unframed prints, canvas wrap prints, metal prints, acrylic art prints, and wood prints. My art prints are high quality archival and printed with the utmost care.
