Abstract Accounting III

Abstract Accounting is a series of paintings done in gouache on vintage paper. The paper is a page from an old ledger from a printing company in Richmond, VA. You can see the month and year that is being recorded at the top of the page. Each one is different. The abstract shapes contrasting with the beautiful handwriting and scrupulous accounting method, bring two systems of structure to life.
