Searching for Buffalo

Available

Searching for Buffalo, an abstract 12"x 48" artwork on Bronze Plexiglas 1/8 in thick. Long and narrow, perfect for a hallway it resonates with vibrant colors and organic facial images that engage your interest and spark your imagination. A totem pole, inspired by a Ken Burns Documentary, "American Buffalo", focusing on the Native American aspect, specifically how they lost their lands and the buffalo.

I paint on Plexiglas, and unlike canvas, this artwork is bronze acrylic. I use acrylic metallic paints, glass paints and alcohol inks working with a blending solution, tools and brushes to achieve the desired effect I want.

Since this is bronze Plexiglas I varnish ithe painted side with Kamar Varnish and UV Resistant spray.

I coil wire it so it is ready to hang frameless. It can also be framed, just like a canvas painting but no backing board is needed.
The painting is viewed from the painted side, creating a striking visual impact of color and luminosity.

Free Shipping is included for US purchases only and each painting is professionally packaged and insured so it arrives safely.
