It's a great day when you come away from an artwork because of a detail, a thought among many, that makes your heart leap. That exact feeling happens to me every time I view this portion of my oil painting, 'A Child's Marvelous Dream'. The entire artwork is SO uplifting, but this section is the icing on the cake that brings satisfaction to my work, an OK to errors corrected and meaning to all the tribulations of a painter.
