Palau, Micronesia

The reference for this 16"x20" oil painting is fashioned after a photo shared by friend Mr. Bert Allen who dove In the depths of the Pacific Ocean. This is where lie the remains of WWII Japanese fighter planes, a period marked by conflict and technological warfare.
It’s here, on the ocean floor, where history silently rests. Underwater exploration allowed Mr. Allen to witness this setting that also captured the plethera of sealife in the area in which he was diving.
Thank you Bert for sharing such an outstanding experience and for allowing me to paint from your reference photos.
