Jaguar- Lives in brush, forested areas, swamps and arid mountainous scrub. Found in Southeastern and central California, Arizona, New Mexico and into Texas. Rare in the U.S. increasingly seen from Mexico to Brazil and North Patagonia. At first males keep distance from mates, then soon bring food for nursing females and later their young.
