Land Otter- A webbed footed, semi-aquatic fish eating mammal of the Weasel family. Various species and sub-species live along inland and coastal waterways of every continent except Australia. They are restless and wide ranging. Cubs are weaned at 5 or 6 weeks and then taught to swim. The male stays with the female till cubs are born, then later return to join the family for swim lessons.
