Gathering Strength (suite of four panels)

Gathering Strength Suite is installed at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center in their main lobby. This public work in Sacramento is available to be seen daily. This Cancer Center treats children who have cancer. In this series, I was recognizing the strength that families and children must have to complete a series of treatment for young children. Life saving treatment that will contribute to their survival. The most serious of situations. I hoped that in viewing these paintings, families would be able to gather strength to support their children receiving treatment. This is my interpretation, I invite you to have your own.
