The Elephant Earring was the main source of inspiration for this painting. And where do we have these magnificent mammals? In Africa and in India. I am a huge fan of Elephants. They look so majestic and confident. This is my first time ever painting a profile of an African woman. The only painting out of the hundreds I have done up to date that my mother found "Beautiful".
