East 6th Street
A collaboration between me and Mac McDonnell, one of my oldest friends. Mac lives and works in Austin Texas where he took the photograph I used as a reference for this painting. I haven't been to Austin in nearly thirty years, but, when I was there, Mac and I would stroll along 6th Street. Every fifty feet, you would hear a different band. The food and drinks were amazing. That is how I remember 6th Street. This painting brings those feelings back for me.
