The porch is part of an old cottage that my family used to rent every summer for many years at Holden Beach, NC. During those years it was a quiet family beach, with lots of space for walking and shell collecting. That porch was a great place to hang out when the sun was too hot! Lots of great memories - and I totally enjoyed painting that rug and all the other details as it took me back to that wonderful place...
