Made with natural earth clay from Santa Clara Pueblo. Plate is stone polished using earth clay as a slip. Sgraffito technique is used in the designing.
The morning sun is giving warmth to the Hummingbirds, butterflies and flowers. On the opposite side is a rain cloud bringing life to them. Around the rim are clouds and raindrops.
