This is a pattern and color system that reminds me of Courtnay, the subject. I was trying to make a painting that completely individualized each photorealist increment to show them as records of mark-making. It's a record of the process of my painting it. The triangles without painted photographic information are like small geometic abstract paintings. They emphasize the grid as opposed to the image.
