From the series 'Illuminated Graffiti'. The work is a contemporary take on illuminated manuscripts, Inspired by the 'Book of Kells' a 9th Century manuscript, this provides a abstract idea of how it might be represented today. Taking in elements of graffiti and street art, expressive use of paint is contrasted to the fine, intricate elements of the old fashioned illuminated manuscript.
